His & Hers by Alice Feeney

Book Synopsis

There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, His & Hers. Which means someone is always lying.

When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation. Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

His & Hers is a twisty, smart, psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly-drawn narrators that will keep readers guessing until the very end.

My Thoughts

This book was so good! It has been a while since I have read a book by Alice Feeney. I have read I Know

Who You Are and Rock Paper Scissors. Of these 3 books, His & Hers is my favorite read by Alice Feeney. I still have several books of hers on my shelf to read and my preordered copy of My Husband's Wife will be arriving next week.

I really liked the addition of the inner thoughts of the unknown narrator interspersed between the chapters narrated by Jack and Anna. I also liked how the Jack and Anna chapters alternated back and forth with the POV's of Him and Her. Just go in blind and read this book. I finished the book and started watching the Netflix series adaptation and I am liking it so far.

I definitely am looking forward to reading more books by Alice Feeney.

My Rating: 5/5
